Providence is calling a full time, day shift, Medical Assistant to Providence Saint John's Health Center Santa Monica, CA.
In this position you will:
The Medical Assistant assists the physician in the delivery of direct patient care in the outpatient setting.
Obtains pre-authorizations and schedules patient appointments for diagnostic testing, assist's physician's and physician assistant with patient calls and requests.
Demonstrates professional communication and interpersonal skills, superior organizational skills, and be able to deal effectively with multiple demands.
Required qualifications for this position include:
1 years experience as a medical back office assistant
Ab le to communicate distinctly via telephone, in person and in writing utilizing the English language.
Current Basic Life Support certificate for Health Care Provider through American Heart Association.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Medical Assistant certification
