Designer Job

Designer needed for direct hire opportunities with Yoh's client located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:

- Performs basic lay-out work and, under supervision, creates detail and assembly drawings.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Creates details drawings from lay-outs by engineers.
- Creates lay-outs of seat components to determine size and fit.
- Creates assembly drawings.
- Communicates with tooling, purchasing, and manufacturing.
- Performs other related duties as required.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- Associates degree in drafting or equivalent experience.
- Three to five years in design related position required.
- Must have good drafting skills (Pro Engineer and/or Catia, AutoCAD) and design skills that will support layout and design work with limited supervision or direction.
- Must be able to function as part of a team.
- Requires communication skills that will provide productive interface between engineering, tooling, and manufacturing.
- Must have effective interpersonal skills, good command of written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have demonstrated commercial aerospace interiors and/or Seating design experience
