The Telecare Stanislaus County Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) will provide services to individuals who are experiencing severe psychiatric symptoms and can benefit from more structured services, supports, and a secure setting. The purpose of the PHF is to help individuals reduce their symptoms, develop a recovery plan, and prepare to transition back to their lives or lower levels of care with follow-up treatment resources and community supports in place. The PHF will provide locked inpatient acute services 24-hours a day, 7 days per week. It will accept clients (age 18+) on average who can stay for 5-7 days, but may flex with an individual's needs. In the PHF, they will receive a comprehensive assessment, and a robust treatment program of active therapies and recovery-based services. The program can serve up to 16 individuals at a time.
As an RN Supervisor, you will oversee activities that are performed by professional and paraprofessional nursing personnel. This involves coordination of all care provided patients with a focus on maintaining the quality of services rendered; if necessary, assists in providing a seamless transition for individuals from the Crisis Stabilization Unit into treatment,
QUALIFICATIONS
One year of experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting is required; Acute psychiatric experience is highly preferred. Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of California is required, as is graduation from an accredited school of nursing. A valid CPR Certificate is also required. A B.A./B.S. degree is preferred. Necessary skills include the ability to work with patients with multiple disabilities, complete an accurate needs assessment and a willingness to participate as a team member in a multidisciplinary environment; sensitivity to multi-cultural populations and issues is required; the ability to supervise professional and paraprofessional staff, including making assignments and assisting with counseling and evaluations is crucial; must have valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
