Seed Technician-Entry Level - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is seeking qualified Seed Technicians for our client in Jerseyville, IL.

Job Responsiblities:

• Responsible for creation and movement of physical samples.
• Responsible for performing designated physical seed quality analysis.
• Count and bag seed for distribution in a highly regulated environment.
• Process, treat, and count seed and separate out for shipment according to those national standards for that target location.
• Must have excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced global and multi-cultural environment.
• Utilize Microsoft products to track seed and note any trends with shipments in/out.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma required
• Experience working in a manufacturing or agricultural setting preferred.
• Experience working in a government-regulated environment strongly preferred.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency operating hand machinery for seed counting.
