Computer skills and understanding would be an asset to this position along with software skills. Ability to convey and understand installer or customer issues related to RTI equipment and products and successfully resolve and troubleshoot concerns or problems.
- Strong telephone customer service ability and experience.
- Demonstrate process troubleshooting and issue resolution in a timely and effective manner.
- Instruct and listen to customer application and proper use of the system or controllers (remotes)
- Research customer concerns or issues for future understanding and troubleshooting ability.
- Documentation skills and ability to log and update customers and action items. Work Environment: Technical Call Support Qualifications: Qualifications
- AA Degree in Electronics or CS (not required)
- Minimum 1-2 years of Customer Phone Support (Technical)
-Computer and/or Hardware Electronics ability and understanding required.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability with effective communication skills (patience w/ Installers or customers)
- Some Networking skills or understanding of Networks would be helpful (computer programs)
Team is 4 members currenly and want to get to 6 by Nov. (average call volume is 15-20 daily). Training wil be 3-4 weeks beofre doing much phone support. Performance Expectations: Must be very good with technicial phone support and process oriented to work thru troubleshooting and problem resolution. Must be panient and take time to listen and understand issues.
