Data Entry - Credentialing

This is a Data Entry role in the Credentialing department, they are extremely short handed and need help getting the Provider information into the system. Once entered the Credentialing Specialists will go into system and evaluate the information. At

Attention to detail and typing skills are a must.

Nature and Scope

Preparation and submission of all third-party applications for 150+ providers. Tracks status and completes the credentialing process in a timely manner, and effectively communicates this status to the appropriate parties.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
May include some or all of the following:

1. Initiates, follows through, and completes the provider credentialing process utilizing the appropriate software applications, including CAQH

2. Initiates, follows through, and completes the provider re-credentialing process utilizing tracking software applications

3. Maintains provider files on credentialing software application

4. Maintains and updates procedure manual and forms for processing third party applications and the credentialing process for providers

5. Notifies appropriate parties of credentialing and re-credentialing status
6. Notifies appropriate parties of provider terminations, additions, deletions, location changes

7. Maintains accurate demographic information on all providers

8. Assists Manager with credentialing projects

9. Other duties as assigned
