Quality Assurance Lab Technician

*Please note: This is a 3rd shift opportunity, hours are 10pm-6am. Pay can increase depending on relevant experience.

The key responsibility of this posiiton is to monitor processes and products to assure product safety and consistency. Candidate will be responsible for:

Collecting samples of ingredients, products and/or packages and monitor and test according to established procedures, monitor processes to assure they are operating consistently, document findings into excel and word, label and maintain samples of ingredients or products for retains or shelf life monitoring, organize and collect data for management review, maintain lab area and equipment, communicate inconsistent results or observations to management immediately, monitor plant for compliance with GMPs, reccomend methods for improving any processes to improve waste, improve productivity, improve quality or consistency, test R&D samples for safety & specification development.

Lab instrumentation includes: moisture analyzer, ph meter, water activity.

MUST HAVE: Associates or bachelor's degree in a science and preferrably experience in a Quality role.
