? The schedule can change periodically based on call volumes. (50-75 calls per day)
? They will have the same hours through the week and it does not change day to day.
? We do ask for them to be flexible as we offer a lot of OT during the high volume months (summer). Also if people call in sick, etc. we need the additional coverage.
? All the contractors will most likely work the 10-7 shift Mon-Fri.
? We do have a rotating Saturday shift from 8-5 with a day off scheduled during the week. They will work maybe one Saturday every two months. They also can trade with another agent for their Saturday shift. We ask them to work through lunch on Saturday as we provide their lunch so they actually work 9 hours and it gives them 1 hour of OT.
? OT is based on volume and staffing (people out unexpected). This is where the flexibility comes in?this is also where they shine if they step up to the plate when we ask for volunteers - that makes a difference! It is rare I pull the mandatory OT card this is usually based on volunteers. As the busy season comes upon us the OT becomes available. So ? someone can have 5 ? 8 hours of OT a week depending on volume/staff. Hope that answers your question.
