POSITION PURPOSE
-

The Home Depot Enterprise User Experience Team is looking for passionate and dynamic UX professionals to research, design, measure, & create the next generation experiences for in-store and internal associate facing applications and websites.

Through a deep understanding of how Home Depot associates perform their daily work duties, the Enterprise UX team will enhance the usability, create workflow efficiencies, and delight our users through the enablement of intuitive cross channel technology solutions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Full or Part Time
  • Internship for students interested in becoming a UX Designer, User Researcher, Interaction Designer, UX Architect, and/or Information Architect.
  • Work under the direction of a senior Enterprise UX team member to translate requirements into well thought out intuitive interaction designs
  • Deliverables will include but are not limited to: mental models, user journeys, personas, scenarios, low & high fidelity prototypes, wireframes.
  • Learn how UX fits within an Agile Development Process
  • Participate in quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Students will be working in a collaborative, cross-functional team; learning effective management of shifting priorities, delivering thorough work products, and meeting project deadlines
  • Gain experience employing a variety of user-centered iterative design methodologies and objective evaluation techniques (e.g., requirements visualization, design studio, contextual inquiry, rapid contextual design, user journey mapping.)
  • We utilize a variety of rapid prototyping and visualization tools (e.g., Axure, iRise, Balsamiq, Omnigraffle, Visio, Adobe CC, UXPin, etc
