Our client in Owingsville, KY is currently seeking a Material Planner to add to their manufacturing plant.
This position will be responsible for forecasting inventory and supply to ensure that the company is able to meet production needs set forth by their suppliers. 80% of this position will be spent in the office while the other 20% will require physical inventory checks when forecasted numbers reach a certain volume. Candidates will possess a strong background in Excel and have experience working with inventory or material planning and experience with MRP systems is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Strong Excel experience
- Experience dealing with inventory and materials
- Strong attention to detail
