Machine Operator - Full-time / Part-time

The machine operator will be responsible for measuring and weighing out various materials including but not limited to rubber, oil and poly and loading those materials by hand into blending/mixing machines. Once loaded, they will enter various information into a Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and will monitor the operation of the machine to ensure proper temperatures are met and no errors are taking place. They will also pull sample material (raw and processed) to conduct various quality laboratory checks including but not limited to color, light, hardness, density, moisture etc. They will also be tearing apart the machine to clean the machine. They will clean their work environments consistently which includes sweeping excess powders and materials off the floor. They could also operate a forklift to carry material to/from production lines.
