BASIC PURPOSE: Responsible for leading the Media design group, for training and development content and programs for field employees and assisting with classroom training and development events. The field includes Travel Stops and Country Stores, Restaurants, Tire Care, Storage and Hospitality.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and lead Media team
Review and manage eLearning courses and training documents
Work in company’s Learning Management System (LMS), which includes the creation of courses and tests for deployment. Troubleshoot LMS issues and assist other HR staff with management with evaluations and training outlines.
Assist with training and development events
Create/update development programs for field employees
Work with internal departments to identify, obtain information and create eLearning courses and training aids
Manage projects for Media team
Author or edit training manuals/documents/forms to ensure the content is current.
Review / update content of all training mediums.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
•Education:
Bachelor's degree preferably in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Communication, Marketing or related field required; equivalent combination of education and professional training required.
•Experience:
3 year related experience required (training or human resources)
5 years related experience preferred (training or human resources)
1 year of leadership required
Experience in developing eLearning courses and training curriculum a plus

Typical Physical Demands:
Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
Some travel may be required.
