Primary Responsibilities:

Interact and meet with eligible individuals at their homes and / or various sites throughout the community / service area to enroll them into UnitedHealthcare government programs (NY State Medicaid and Child Health Plus).
Maintain high level of collaboration between UnitedHealth Group and community-based partners and other state and government agencies in the Rochester, NY area
Perform community marketing and outreach to promote UnitedHealthcare government programs
Conduct home visits and provide telephonic support
Offer ongoing member education and member servicing
Maintain accurate records for reporting purposes
Meet monthly targets for applications received

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
1+ years in a direct sales related or social service / community capacity or customer service
Travel locally up to 100 percent of time within assigned sales territory
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Live within a commutable distance of one of the locations listed for this specific career opportunity
Have valid driver’s license and reliable, licensed motor vehicle
Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual
Familiar with enrollment and eligibility New York's public health insurance programs
Prior Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Medicare, Dual Eligible products
Certified Application Counselor certification highly desired
Healthcare experience in a community or sales / marketing role
Have established professional relationships with referrals / community sources in designated sales area
Experience working with communities of all different ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, diverse populations and / or underserved communities
