The Sr. Change Consultant will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures.

The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management plans that maximize associate adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The Sr. Change Consultant will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact associates in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.

The Sr. Change Consultant will be able to work on several projects and change deliverables simultaneously and ensure timely completion. The Sr. Change Consultant will help establish and champion the business case for change and will create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, and resistance management plan. And will work with broader team to integrate change management activities into the overall plan.

While the Sr. Change Consultant does not have supervisory responsibility, this person will have to work through many others in the organization to succeed. The Sr. Change Consultant will act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the roles of change leader and sponsor. The Sr. Change Consultant may also provide direct support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. The Sr. Change Consultant will support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans and approach change management as both an art and a science, leveraging proven change methodologies as well as a strong understanding of individual and organizational psychological factors that influence and drive behavior change.
