Seeking: Architect Cum Sr. Developer
Location: Memphis, TN
Duration: 12 months
Responsibilities
- Can independently architect a solution by translating customers' needs into tangible solutions and demonstrate them by building rapid proof of concepts
- Is capable of independently developing systems design, including requirements gathering, specifications, and coding (when required)
- Designs innovative solutions and communicate them to both client and delivery teams, and is able to balance the solution with the project constraints (e.g., schedule, budget, scope, etc.)
- Shows initiatives to improve productivity, innovation, reuse, tools usage. Contributes to organizational initiatives
- Accountable for key technical decisions in the project
- Work closely with the project teams in successful delivery of solutions to customers
- Analyze technical requirements of a new project, conceptualizes design, identify appropriate technology solutions for the project and contribute to project planning and estimation within the project constraints
- Develop proof of concepts to mitigate technological risks
- Assist in assessing the technical health of the project by performing technical review of the project on a regular basis
- Contribute to relevant technology Center of Excellence (CoE)
- Participate in organizations training, interview and knowledge management initiatives
- Member of relevant Community of Practices (CoPs) and participate via discussions and resolving questions
- Promote use of tools in the projects
Skills
- Java language, SOA (6 yrs of exp)
- Shell Scripting (4+ years of exp.)
- RDBMS MYSQL (4 yar of exp.)
- UNIX / Linux (4+ yar of exp)
- Strong architectural and design skills (2 + yrs exp)
Optional Skills
- Hospitality domain knowledge
- Experience of being part of transitioned project
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, defect lifecycle, incident lifecycle and change lifecycle.
- Perl Scripting (Advanced Perl)
- C programming
