About this job

Our client is seeking a candidate to join their team permanently to as a Construction Contracts administrator, to learn and train in accounting functions and monthly contract billings.

The company will provide training to the successful candidate over time and groom this candidate to become a senior contracts administrator.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Associates Degree
  • Highly adept with numbers, calculations, and spreadsheets
  • Some financial or accounting experience is a plus.
  • Must have a great attitude, work well in teams, and be trainable.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly billings to client based on costs incurred.
  • Regularly review and verify vendor and subcontractor invoices. Compare against Purchase Orders and recommend for payment.
  • Assist Project Manager in writing, distributing, and managing Subcontracts and Purchase Agreements.
  • Interface and maintain liaison with project management, client, home office, and other consultants on all project cost-related topics.
  • Assist with establishing, implementing, and documenting job-specific cost control standards.
  • Process Payable and create Check Runs for Payables
  • Job Costing Invoices with Cost Codes
  • Invoice for Time and Materials Projects
  • Track Materials Used On Projects
  • Work with PM's to monitor Work In Progress and Monthly Billings for Jobs.
  • Our client will provide training to the successful candidate over time for the following:
  • Develop budgets, cash flow projections, and any project-specific reports, tools, or spreadsheets
