Distribution Center Assistant
Join our depot team - positions are available for dependable individuals to work at least 3 early mornings a week, from approximately 1:00 AM to 7:00 AM, assisting at our distribution center.
* Assist with unloading bundles of newspapers from delivery trucks; verify receipt of bundles; distribute proper number of copies to each work station
* Help deliver down routes and instruct new independent contractors in geographic territories for delivery, and more as needed.
* Assist with overall upkeep of distribution center
Necessary qualifications:
* Ability to lift and move bundles of newspapers weighing between 20-30 lbs. each repetitively over a short period during each shift
* Ability to function safely in early morning hours, a valid MA driver's license and an excellent driving record.
Geographic knowledge of South Shore, and bi-lingual abilities are a plus!
