An Aerospace Manufacturing Company in Philadelphia, Pa is looking to hire a full time "Human Resources Generalist" for a full time opportunity.

The Human Resources Generalist will report to the Senior Manager of Human Resources, and perform the following functional areas: staffing and recruitment of qualified personnel for open budgeted positions, employee relations, and training.
1. Perform sourcing activities including database mining, internet job boards, employee referrals, third party staffing partnerships, and networking.
2. Conduct and facilitate candidate interviews in an effort to support hiring managers on making good hiring decisions.
3. Actively working to develop effective relationships with hiring managers.
4. Conduct onboarding activities including offer letter negotiations and administration, relocation assistance, HRIS database maintenance, background investigation administration, coordinating start dates, and conducting new hire orientation.
5. Responsible for accurate and timely applicant tracking and recruiting metrics.
6. Proactively seek and develop a pipeline of qualified candidates.
7. Answers employee relations questions (health benefits, FMLA, EAP, 401k, company policy, etc.)
8. Administers Drug & Alcohol Program, requiring random testing of employees.
9. Facilitates employee benefits on-boarding.
10. Immigration paperwork (processing visa's and greencards).
11. Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned by the
Senior Manager of Human Resources, or other HR managers.������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������
Qualifications:
- Bachelor���������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������s degree in Business Management, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Labor and Industrial Relations or related study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4-6 years of experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������other Human Resources programs.
- 4-6 years of agency or corporate recruiting experience, including sourcing and interviewing candidates for positions in Finance, Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, Human Resources, and Manufacturing.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems and database mining.
- Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
- General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Able to multi-task and coordinate the needs of the busy office.
- Interview and sales skills
- Work with ADP time card system
License/Certification
- PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.
