About this job

  1. Read Build-to Charts to ensure that sufficient Dough is prepared.
  2. Prepare all Dough/Shells in compliance with GPI standards and within allowable times.
  3. Ensure proper weights of dough ingredients and shells.
  4. Ensure proper proofing of shells.
  5. Adhere to shelf life standards for dough and shells.
  6. Clean and restock dough sheeting area.
  7. Cleaning of restaurant and grounds to meet GPI standards in compliance with the Operations Manual.
  8. Clean and sanitize wall surfaces, work surfaces and equipment (must be 18 years of age to clean the Hobart mixer and dough roller).
  9. Label prepared products to GPI standards as stated in the Operations Manual.
  10. Use a variety of kitchen equipment to prepare food products. (Must be 18 years of age to operate the Hobart mixer, vegetable dicer and dough roller.)
  11. Adhere to proper sanitation procedures in compliance with health department standards.
  12. Complete all bus/dish duties as needed (see bus/dish job description).
  13. Other duties as needed for restaurant to run efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 to operate certain equipment.
  • Must be able to arrive at the store at the scheduled time and maintain reasonable attendance at work.
  • Must be able to read, speak, write and communicate effectively at the work location.
  • Basic math skills required
  • Must be able to build and maintain positive relationships with supervisors, co-workers and guests.
  • May need to lift food items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • May require Food Handler’s permit.
