About this job

We have a full-time opening for a Mortgage Loan Processor.

Must be able to work at least 5 shifts per week and be available weekdays and weekends.

  • Must have 3 or more years experience.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be authorized to work in the United States.

Requirements

* Open and input loans in our upfront Mortgage Origination system.



* Ensure that all loan documentation is complete, accurate and complies with Bank policy and regulatory requirements.



* Issue all required disclosures according to regulations established for residential mortgage lending.



* Gather documentation and information to present loans for underwriting approval as well as to clear loans for closing.



* Submits conditions to Underwriter to clear loan for approval.



* Expedite loan approvals by interacting with customers, branches, MLO's, realtors, title companies and other parties.



* Issue and follow-up on outstanding letters of intent as required.



* Order appraisals, title work and flood certifications as required.



* Follow up on all outstanding orders to third parties and borrowers.



* Process, review and analyze loans according to guidelines.



* Mail approval and denial letters to applicants.



* Prepare loan file for closing and submits to Closer.



* Process brokered loans utilizing Lender(s) policies and procedures in coordination with Bank policy.



* Meet crucial deadlines requested.



* Research and respond to customer inquiries.



* Open, review and distribute incoming mail as necessary.



* Perform all other duties as assigned.



Qualifications:



* High School Diploma/GED required.



* Minimum of 3 years residential mortgage processing experience required; Sonyma processing experience preferred.



* Direct customer service experience required.



* Effective written and verbal communication skills.



* Demonstrated knowledge of automated underwriting scoring systems; Desktop Underwriter experience preferred.



* Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.



* Organized, detail oriented and able to multi task.
