The Provider Data Analyst is responsible for various activities related to the provider network database which may include any or all of the following: database maintenance, reporting and extracting data for various reports and analyses, initiating database improvement. Provider Data Analysts develop and maintain standards for database integrity and quality assurance, coordinate corrective activities to clean database and retain users, and manage communication processes with other departments regarding database improvements. Other responsibilities include conducting audits and providing feedback to reduce errors and improve processes and performance, maintaining current provider data to ensure the quality of the network, and may be responsible for representing the provider network area on company IT projects, reporting and tracking provider calls and complaints, or for the support, coordination, and production of the paper directory cycles. 
Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and test automated processes
Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
Solve moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses
Provide explanations and information to others on difficult issues

Requirements


Required Qualifications:

1+ years of data analysis and/or audit experience within the healthcare industry
Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office software programs and database management systems (Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years of experience with FACETS, Pulse, or NDB
Experience with PhyCon
2+ years of customer response/customer service experience
Skilled at problem solving, follow-through and resolution
Intermediate level of proficiency in tracking, trending and reporting on metrics
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
Undergraduate degree
