About this job

The Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care through the use of the nursing process and is accountable for the practice as defined by the laws of the State of Wyoming. The Registered Nurse works directly with team members in the provision and maintenance of high quality patient care. Conducts and documents patient assessment and plan of care. Implements, and evaluates plan of care according to patient's condition and response. Demonstrates ability to work within the nursing organization guidelines. The Registered Nurse is accountable to the Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, or Nursing Coordinator as applicable. Follows the guidelines described in the Code of Conduct Ethics and Compliance Program.

1. Current registration as Registered Nurse in the State of Wyoming.

2. Must be able to withstand the stresses and demands of an active position as listed in the Working Conditions Sections.

3. Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately and effectively in English through both written and verbal correspondence.

4. Must have knowledge (through training) or experience in performing patient care activities for infants, toddler & pre-school, school-age, and adolescent patients ages 0-17, adult patients ages, 18-65, and geriatric patients ages 66 .

5. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions and decimals.

6. 2 years labor and delivery experience.

7. Current BLS required.
