Machine Assembly - Full-time / Part-time

Performs in process inspections of finished products to determine conformance with specifications and records data Reports identified issues to production management and QC management  Utilizes testing instruments and equipment  Processes associated documentation Works under minimal supervision and in accordance with instructions and techniques Assists in analysis of quality problems and recommend solutions. Moves samples and materials as necessary Take samples from rail cars and inspect empty cars Other assigned duties as needed Education and Experiences High school diploma or GED  Minimum of 2 years experience as a Quality Inspector or Quality Technician in  an ISO certified environment preferred  Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Basic math skills Basic computer skills Supervisory Responsibilities None Training Requirements General safety training Physical Demands Light physical effort required.  Continuous mental and visual attention required. Job performed while standing. Will be required to take and pass a color blindness test. Personal Protective Equipment As required by PPE map and tasks assigned  Work Environment: Some occasional exposure to shop elements such as heat,  noise, moving parts,
dust and fumes.  Working Hours 12 hour operation  Rotating Day shift and Night shift  - from 6:45  am/pm  to 7:15 am/ pm    May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
