RN - MED/SURG/PEDI - SEASONAL CONTRACT- NIGHTS - $45/HR DIFFs

13 WEEK CONTRACT

The Med/Surg Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for prescribing, delegating and coordinating patient care. Accountable that patient care meets standards of safety, effectiveness, patient rights, and guest relations. The RN Med/Surg supervises care delivered by patient care team; coordinates plan of care; provides education for patients and staff; collaborates with other disciplines; provides direct patient care for specific patient age groups. As an RN, you will conduct patient assessments and develop and implement nursing care plans to foster quality outcomes. You will have the opportunity to apply sound judgment, clinical expertise, and execute critical nursing interventions to all patient populations within the patient care setting

Expectations:

12 hour shift -- Days

36 hours minimum per week -- 3 shifts

Every other weekend rotation

Must work major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years Day)

May be asked to float to other departments within the hospital

May be asked to float to other Tenet Dallas Market hospitals

Texas Regional Medical Center at Sunnyvale

Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake

Centennial Medical Center in Frisco

More than 2 unexcused absences during this period may result in dismissal

All compliance, health screening and license/certification requirements are met

Required qualifications, experience and skills:

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an Acute Care Hospital Med/Surg unit.

Professional Requirement: Current Texas RN license required

Certifications: BLS from AHA, ACLS preferred
