Providence is calling a Registered Nurse - Surgery ( .9 FTE/ Day Shift ) to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA.
In this position you will:
Prepare operating rooms for surgery, using appropriate techniques.
Interpret policies, procedures, standards, and regulations as appropriate.
Demonstrate proficiency in delivering care to assigned age specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current California Registered Nurse License
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers form the American Heart Association
One year OR / Perioperative experience in an acute setting
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Able to circulatein all services including trauma, heart, and other specialties strongly.
