* High school or GED equivalent

* At least 5 years of job related experience

* Demonstrated proficiency of architectural skill set through trade school, technical school and / or experience

* TS Clearance

* Minimum of 7 years in the architectural trade.

* OCONUS experience preferred.

* Must be able to obtain a U.S. Tourist passport before employment start date.

Job Description: AECOM has a great opportunity for Carpenters that would support non-hazardous OCONUS and CONUS activities, with the possibilities of deployments lasting 3 to 6 months at a time.

Job Duties:

* Performing all tasks and assignments in a safe and effective manner.

* Perform layout of construction requirements utilizing drawings and specifications.

* Perform material take-off of architectural materials utilizing drawing and specifications.

* Inventory of materials at AECOM local warehouse and assist with load definition in support of the project schedule.

* Perform selective demolition at the project site and removal of refuse from the area.

* Installation of architectural assemblies to include metal framing, drywall, suspended ceiling systems, raised floor systems, architectural finishes, doors, locksets and miscellaneous assemblies in support of the project requirements.

* Erection of scaffolding and platforms, as required, to support the project requirements.

* Cleanup of the work areas and maintaining the work areas free of clutter and debris.

* Perform material handling in support of the architectural requirements, as well as the overall project requirements.

* Support multi-discipline needs in support of the project requirements.
