BASIC FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and evaluating requirements for implementation for continuous process improvement of assigned systems; responsible for leading the acceptance and regression testing for the department; development of requirements documentation for new initiatives; developing detailed test plans from requirements document; overseeing the execution of test cases; submitting defects and collaborating with ITG resources on resolutions; the preparation of various key account reconciliations; reporting and communicating issues/discrepancies to management and recommending operational solutions; assisting with project support impacting various areas of Financial Operations; controlling and monitoring of various departmental accounting related activities; completion of journal vouchers; developing ad hoc reports; and generating of monthly recap information necessary to support monthly statistical reporting.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance AND 3 years experience in Accounting OR 5 years experience in Accounting.
* 3 years experience in testing and researching system issues.
* Knowledge of health care products and networks.
* Analytical skills and research techniques.
* Financial accounting experience
* Knowledge in writing Ad Hoc queries.
* Technical writing skills.
* Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills.
* Knowledge in developing and implementing process improvements.
* Knowledge leading departmental acceptance and regression testing.
* Organizational skills to include prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
* Analytical skills to include troubleshooting and problem solving.
* PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills, experience, education, or knowledge:
* Understanding of HCSC Systems, Processes and Controls
* Facilitation Skills
* Accounting and IT experience
* Strong Organizational skills
* Ability to handle multiple complex assignments
* Demonstrated project experience.
* Visio and Process Mapping Experience
