Designed by nurses, the Versant RN Residency is the most innovative and comprehensive new graduate on boarding experience available. The Versant RN Residency prepares new nurses by organizing and transitioning them into professional nursing. The Residency is designed to be a highly-supportive and appropriately experience.As a Versant Resident, you will be employed as a full time, paid employee. You will be supported-both professionally and emotionally-by a network of senior nurses who act as teachers, preceptors, mentors and debriefers. Upon successful completion the Residency, you'll be prepared to successfully pursue your goal of serving as a professionalRegistered Nurse. After submitting your online application, we ask that you provide the following:

Two letters of recommendation from clinical instructors and your most official transcript. The Recruiter will review the submitted items and email you an online pre-assessment should you be selected to move to the next stage in the process. You may interview for two areas of interest, some ask that you limit your applications to your top two preferences.

Letter including current GPA, what influenced you to pursue a career in nursing and why you chose that particular specialty. Also, what influenced you to supply at Houston Northwest Medical Center.

Candidates for the RN/ Registered Nurse should meet the following requirements:

* Hold and maintain a current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse / RN.

o ADN/BSN

o Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing

o BLS (Required)

o ACLS (Required)

o PALS (Preferred)

* Letter of Intent

* (2) Recommendation Letters from Professors

* Transcripts

* HESI or ATI Scores

* GPA
