Job Summary The Internal Medicine Residency Program manages education of newly graduated physicians pursuing a specialization in Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities* Enter and maintain accurate schedules in MedHub, our online resident management software, and Amcom, the online paging system, for more than 150 residents. Send and track evaluations through MedHub. Track and update resident duty hour records. Keep residents updated on program events. Manage resident parking access lists. Track resident certifications and schedule re-certifications when needed.

Aid with the annual recruitment of new residents. Schedule rooms for interviews, organize materials, and generally assist the coordinator in charge of recruiting. Calculate resident reimbursement for meal expenses, mileage, and other items. Field phone calls for program leadership and the main program phone line. Manage document filing for more than 150 residents. Screen, prioritize, or respond to correspondence as a representative of the program, or direct matters to appropriate individuals for action of follow-up. Order food and schedule rooms for events. Perform other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications* High school education or equivalent and two to four years of experience. Knowledge of University policies and procedures. PC experience utilizing a variety of software, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are vital to success in this position. Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines. Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to successfully work with all levels of faculty, staff and students. Must have the ability to work independently and as an integral part of the team.

Desired Qualifications* Experience in graduate medical education. Familiarity with MedHub. Experience with financial management and account reconciliation.
