Transporter - PRN

A Radiology Transporter transports patient to and from designated areas using proper technique regarding wheelchairs, stretchers and body mechanics. The Transporter serves to insure quality diagnostic imaging services for the neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population for health maintenance and/or improvement, while cooperating and coordinating with all memers of the Diagnostic Imaging Departments, Nursing Services, Medical Staff, other health care professionals, clinical affiliations, and other disciplines as necessary for the provision of quality patient care. This is a non-exempt position. High School Diploma Preferred

Experience:

No experience required- Hospital experience and medical terminology preferred.

Skills/Abilities:

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required. Must have the ability to work well with others. Position requires good written and verbal communication skills.
