About this job
Prepares and sends specimens and test request to proper LabCorp or contracted reference laboratory for testing. Releases referral test results into the computer system according to established procedures. LCA Reference Test Clerk works on site in hospital laboratory.. Employee works independently and communicates with hospital lab daily. Specimens are pulled from hospital pic list. Then processed in Labcorp Beacon, SIS and SRS. They will work with specimen problems and corrective actions taken. Position works every other weekend from 8am to 12 pm
