About this job
The Yoga Instructor will be responsible for leading yoga classes for members and resort guests in our studio. Essential functions include but are not limited to:
* Design effective yoga classes that cater to the abilities of all students.
* Be prepared to modify and adjust classes to accommodate specific student's needs.
* Offer a safe and welcoming environment to all.
Some high school, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
At least 1 year of previous experience as a fitness/yoga instructor.
Excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication, and time management.
Ability to work in a team environment with professional demeanor.
Ability to speak, read and write English, to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals as well as deliver training.
Candidate must possess certifications for fitness training, excellent guest service skills and will be responsible for ensuring a quality guest experience.
Candidate must have completed a yoga instructor program.
Projects a professional and polished image that inspires confidence and trust. Must be able to abide by the company appearance standards and compliance with the designated uniform.
Comfortable interfacing with a diverse group of individuals
Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English
Must be able to work variable shift, weekends, holidays, and special events, as needed.
