This position is responsible for providing administrative, human resource and regulatory oversight for out-patient oncology. The position will collaborate with all levels of staff and assume responsibility for daily operations for the Oncology Clinic, Infusion Center and Radiation Oncology. Primary responsibilities include management of staff and resources, quality, patient throughput, clinical operations, employee supervision, work assignments, patient experience, coaching and training, performance evaluations and completing disciplinary actions
* Works within the framework of the State Nurse Practice Act and follows all Hospital policies and procedures as
* Complies with Hospital, oncology program, and nursing philosophies/standards in the performance of job duties and responsibilities.
* Supports the goals and objectives of the oncology program.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
Graduate of an approved school of nursing
Minimum of two years of prior supervisory or health care management experience preferred.
ONS chemotherapy and biotherapy provider card required
Current license in the State of California as a RN.
BLS Certified.
Maintains current Registered Nurse licensure with state in good standing.
