About this job
Performs occupational therapy evaluation and treatment in both outpatient and acute inpatient settings.
Perform occupational therapy assessment, once physician's orders are received
Provide written evaluation and plan of care to the physician
Reassess patient monthly to update plan of care
Supervision of COTAs and other support staff
Maintain up-to-date licensure, and continous improvement of OTs knowledge and skills.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Occupational Therapy.
TX State Occupational Therapy License required.
Current CPR certification required.
Ability to serve as a lead worker to subordinate personnel and the ability to assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Director.
Ability to work independently and maintain a positive, courteous attitude.
Continued employment is contingent on successfully maintaining current required certification(s) and/or license(s).
