Accurately implements the patient care program designed by the physical therapist or coponents thereof in a setting appropriate to the patient's disability, age and psychosocial needs.
Performs such activities as passive, active and resisitive exercise, general conditioning, mobility and gait training and modalities.
Education required: Completion of A.A. degree from a school or college approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
License/Certification required: Current California certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant. BLS certification through AHA.
Experience Preferred: One year experience as a physical therapy assistant in an acute care facility.
