Providence is calling a Per Diem Day Shift Registered Nurse to our Day Surgery Recover Room at Providence Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA.

In this position you will:

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, this position is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process

Required qualifications for this position include:

Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support ( ACLS ) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association

Pediatric Advanced Life Support ( PALS )certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association

Current LA City Fire Card within 90 days of hire

EKG recognition and clinical implications course

1 year acute care ICU or Recovery Room experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)

National Certification
