Position Description:

At DreamDry, Stylists are responsible for giving our clients a personalized and glamorous experience from beginning to end. Stylists will have a quick, but thorough consultation with each client, before escorting them to our wet space and then over to a gorgeous styling station; talk about the red carpet treatment! Our team is fun, efficient and fabulous! Our Stylists will go through DreamDry Academy prior to officially being on the salon floor. Stylists will perform blowdrys, braids and updos from our beautifully curated Style Menu. This position plays a key part in making DreamDry the consistently exceptional destination it is, for all of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver efficient, consistent and stylish blowouts and services


• Consult with each client based on selected services


• Build a client base through exceptional client service, attention and care


• Provide and suggest the proper products and treatments for clients, based on hair length, type and texture


• Assist salon management in maintaining the salon and your own individual station

Experience and Skills:

• Must have a valid New York State Cosmetology license


• 1-3 years of salon experience; high-end retail, spa or hospitality experience preferred


• Exceptional client service skills


• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills


• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment within a growing company


• Ability to multi-task and execute strong time management and judgement skills


• Ability to work well with a diverse staff at all times
