About this job
A Hotel Repair and Maintenance Technician will be responsible
primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space,
and front of the house areas. Guest room and public area, entry-level,
preventative maintenance are included. A Hotel Repair and Maintenance
Technician will also perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and laundry
equipment, requiring skills and experience in these areas, as well as good
communication skills. Strong trouble shooting skills (with electricity,
plumbing, etc.) are required.
Three years building
maintenance experience is preferred.
Prior hotel experience
preferred.
Good customer skills required.
Must be able to work primarily
afternoon and evenings shifts.
Must be able to work on
weekends and holidays.
Must have good communication
skills.
Must have physical stamina to
lift moderate amounts of weight
Ability to tolerate moderate
amounts of walking, including stairs and indoor and outdoor climates
Must be able to stand for long
periods of time.
