Position Summary:

This role is responsible for managing and developing SQL queries, building reports using SSRS,
managing databases with multiple data sources, developing web applications, and troubleshooting
various issues with existing reports. Employee is responsible for building a wide variety of reports and
projects for East Region Telesales and Retention.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Gather business requirements from process and business owners to design and develop BI solutionsWrite SQL Queries, design UI elements for presenting reports, and assist in defining and implementing code standardsCreate and Modify ETL packagesRe-evaluate current BI PlatformTune existing and create new Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL stored procedures and functionsWork with other team members to support production databases (tuning T-SQL stored procedures and functions)Document recommended enhancements and discuss with other team membersWork with development staff to create SQL Server database objects to support new development objectivesBuild and maintain SQL scriptsBuild and maintain complex SQL queries for data analysis and data extractBuild and maintain data mart extraction processes.Perform quality assurance and testing at the unit levelDesign for smaller projects

Job Requirements:
Experience with SQL Server 2008, SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL requiredExperience with DB2, Vantage, Oracle and other RDBMS preferredTransform system implementations into written procedures and business documentationTroubleshoot technical problems, resolve and address evolving business needsExcellent data analytical skills with a strong eye for detail
Education Level:

Associate ' s degree (A. A.)

Required Education (Major):

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in relational database management systems and data warehouse.


Required Certifications, Licenses, Registrations, etc., to perform the essential functions of this position:
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 preferredMicrosoft Access Certification preferred
Experience/Skills Required:
5 plus years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle or other major RDBMSFamiliarity with designing and implementing large databases and data warehouses utilizing both relational and dimensional design concepts
