Certified Nursing Assistant

Purpose of position: Provide care for residents of facility as directed by licensed staff.   Meet social, physical and emotional needs as outlined in care plan.  Communicate observations and relevant information to licensed staff.

Qualifications: Must be currently listed with the State of Wisconsin nursing assistant registry or in the process of completing required nursing assistant competency requirements to become eligible for the nursing assistant registry.  (Caregivers will not be allowed to provide resident cares until they have successfully completed the nursing assistant competency requirements and placement on the nursing assistant registry is confirmed.)  Must have basic everyday living skills and the ability to understand and follow directions.  Must be at least 16 years of age, and in good physical and mental health.  Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
