Responsibilities:
Our Home Health Aides (Certified Nursing Assistants) assist with various personal care issues including changing bedding, changing clothing, bathing patients, and helping with hygienic routines such as brushing teeth, washing hair and keeping wounds and dressings cleaned. Our Home Health Aides may assist patients' family members in caring for their relatives by instructing them on how to go about performing basic health-care routines. Home Health Aides consult on a regular basis with their supervising registered nurses in terms of keeping team members apprised of our patients' progression and the families' needs. As a Home Health Aide (CNA), you will perform home care visits and work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Therapist. You will be responsible for observing, reporting, and documenting observations and patient care performed during the home care visit.
Qualifications:
Home Health Aides (Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA) must meet the following requirements:
Be certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of employment and meeting the training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws One year of hands-on work experience is preferred Have the ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care given Be a licensed driver with dependable transportation kept in good working condition, and have automobile liability insurance
