General Manager 3 - Environmental Services / Custodial

Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services / General Manager 3 , for Bassett Memorial Hospital, located in Cooperstown, New York, This position will be supporting the a new sale. In this role, you will be responsible for the following (including but not limited to) Operational Budgets ( Sodexo & Client), quality assurance inspections, staff training, payroll, scheduling, rounding, patient / customer satisfaction, and maintaining Linen Services , Patient Transportations, and the Environmental Services Departments. This is a 1st. shift position, with some required rotational weekends and holidays. This position reports directly to a District Manager. Position Summary

Directs all housekeeping operations at a single unit. Supervises all cleaning personnel. Responsible for maintaining payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree

Basic Management Experience - 4 years

Basic Functional Experience - 4 years

Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
