Painter - Industrial

Are you skilled in painting? Do you like working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment? If so, PrideStaff has a painter position available to you. This is a full-time temporary to hire position ranging from $13.00- $18.00 per hour.

Primary Purpose:

Under general direction and supervision, apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect exterior surfaces, trimmings, materials and products through the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to apply wet paint accurately
• Ability to prep materials to be painted
• Knowledge of equipment, materials, methods, practices, and tools used in painting trade
• Paint surfaces, using brushes, spray gun, or paint rollers, and apply with cloth, brush, sponge to create special effects
• Prepare all painted signs
• Store, handle dispose of paint, stain, varnish and other chemicals according to established procedures

• Must be eager to learn
• Must be able to retain what is taught
• Great attendance
• Must be punctual
