Job Description:
Looking for an individual that is able to deliver a turnkey solution for programming on their CNC Lathes. Primarily will be writing new and editing existing programs for Fanuc and Okuma controls.
Will take a part, and programming in GCode (or Mastercam), choose the tools, make the 1st part, get it approved from QC, then write a set up document for the operators.
Expected to read and interpret blueprints, understand GD&T, use measurement equipment (gauges, calipers, micrometers), upload/download programs from network to CNC machines. Set up machines.
Work Environment:
Will be working on the CNC shop floor where they have 3 Mazaks, 2-3 mills, and several Lathes. A majority of the work will be working the lathes and teaching the machine operators/machinists. Will be working with stainless steel mainly.
Qualifications:
-4+ years' experience programming multiaxis lathes with live tooling
-Ability to prgram CNC Lathes with Canned Cycles
-Must have Working knowledge of Autocad and MasterCAM as well as GCode
-Must be able to understand how to do programming on CNC Lathes on the first day
-Must be able to take a product through the entire process of programming, tools, making the part, setting up documentation
