Hastings Baristas are responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, offering assistance, offering advice on purchase decisions, and providing a clean and safe store environment for associates and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare caf beverages to Hastings standards for speed, quality, and consistency
* Comply with standards for merchandising, stocking, and storing product
* Correctly follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
* Greet and connect with every customer and help influence purchasing decisions
* Continually grow knowledge of coffee and customers
* Maintain the highest standards of conduct and confidentiality
* Follow proper register/cash handling policies and procedures and conduct a successful cash audit upon the completion of each shift
* Takes advantage of new training opportunities and tools
Requirements
* High School Diploma/GED (or 17 years of age and a senior in high school)
* Register/Cash handling experience
* Excellent customer service skills
* Strong time management and organizational skills
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs
