BIM Drafter - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is seeking a qualified BIM Drafter for one of our premier clients in Knoxville. The Electrical Drafter will be assigned tasks in Revit including document production, design work, technical research and documentation, and development of specifications. You will work individually and in teams on local and nationwide projects that involve electrical design in the vertical construction market.

Responsibilities:

• Drafters will work with AutoCAD and Revit software - Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Perform drafting work including power distribution layouts and lighting design on commercial and retail building projects.
• Tasks will include working with a team that runs system analysis including load calculations, voltage drop, fault current, photometric calculations, and energy code calculations.
• Expectations include meeting deadlines and performing field work.
• Other duties as assigned.
