Systems Technician - Full-time / Part-time

The Systems Technician will be responsible for all aspects on startup and commissioning of HVAC Automation Systems on New Construction and Retro-fit projects. Below are the main job details.

- Provide startup and commissioning of new and existing Building Automation Systems that utilize current and past technology.
- Provide solutions to complex problems through hands on troubleshooting and advising subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper systems operation.
- Maintain accurate start up, commissioning and field As-Built drawings as required to ensure final project documentation.
- Complete all company paperwork in a timely manner including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports and service billing reports.
- Responsible for the overall system operation, including but not limited to controllers, sensors, software, third party system interfaces, trend configuration, alarm configuration and coordinate with customer IT personnel, etc.
- Proficient with basic electronic test equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes and computers utilizing Windows based operating systems.
- Provide project-specific system training for the owner or building operator.
- Responsible for set up of workstations with associated user interface software.
- Responsible for preparing job database backups as advised.
- Adheres to company and project safety standards.
- Responsible for other functions and duties as assigned.
