Position Summary:

Provides leadership to design and implement cost savings projects across multiple Marketing sub-categories including Ad/Creative/PR Agencies, Exhibitor/Trade Shows, Market Research, Commercial Print, Fulfillment, Promotional, and Media.

Perform end to end category management functions including analyzing third party spend, sourcing, and performing market analysis identifying opportunities enabling business partner category strategies while ensuring implementation of quality business solutions and cost optimization.

Develops relationships and provides leadership influencing strategic category direction to executive management and cross functional teams performing RFx activities including supporting business requirement definition.

Works across other pyramids to drive value and provides guidance as well as ensure adherence to procurement processes and policy compliance across the enterprise.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Measure and manage ?suppliers (aka providers, agencies, etc.) performance relative to contracted service levels.
  • Experience developing annual opportunity assessments across all Marketing categories of spend to establish annual sourcing wave plans in support of achieving overall savings targets
  • Represent the Marketing procurement support for highly notable brands
  • Identify and resolve strategic supplier performance issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform total cost of ownership evaluations, perform supply-market research and conduct pricing audits and impact analysis for the pursuit of continuous cost improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with suppliers and customer stakeholders to identify and execute continuous cost and performance improvement strategies.
  • Coach and develop team members in their performance and professional development.
  • Be the central point of expertise and knowledge for commercial aspects of category
  • Develop and consistently execute category strategies
  • Analyze category markets and assess risk, gathering intelligence on fundamental conditions and technical information that affects the commodity. Develop sourcing strategies and category management strategies based on market intelligence gathered
  • Oversee RFI, RFP contract development, review processes and utilize appropriate support tools to enhance sustainable
