Job Description:
Company is currently seeking a Lab Manager to oversee air testing lab. Manager will develop methods to run analysis on compressed air systems. Analysis will be done with instrumentation including GC and GC-MS, and infrared spectroscopy.
Manager will be responsible for writing SOPs and participate in Quality Control and Quality Assurance measures. Tracking of data through Excel will be important in this role as well.
Lab Manager will be responsible for implementing quality procedures and corrective action plans. Manager will be required to interface with customers and potentially travel up to 20% of the time.
Work Environment:
Small Lab. Monday- Friday 7:30- 5pm. Off at 3pm on Friday and every other Friday off. Very good work life balance with great benefits once brought on direct. Current Lab Manager is retiring and this person will manage the laboratory operations.
Qualifications:
5+ years of analytical lab experience.
Bachelor Degree in Chemistry
3 years of Chromotography experience preferably GC/MS
Understanding of Ideal Gas Law
Experience working with Gas and piping.
Experience writing SOPS and conducting Method Development
Performance Expectations:
Conduct high volume testing, maintain data basis. Must be able to work interdependently.

Pay Range:
$25.00 to $33.00 / hr.
