Maintenance Tech

Job Summary:

General responsibility for the maintenance and repair of complex production machinery and equipment. Includes diagnosis, troubleshooting, breakdown, preventative and predictive measures.

Essential Functions:

* Diagnose and correct problems with CNC (Siemens) controlled machinery
* Maintains and repair production machinery which includes machine from Kuka, Hofmann, Ina, Gefit, Bartsch, Proceco, and Eisenmann
* Troubleshooting Siemens/Allen Bradley PLC's using laptop to interface with controllers monitoring/editing programs
* Knowledge of control systems
* Basic mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
* Ability to interpret electrical schematics for repair, installation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
* Working Knowledge of Siemens S7
* Preferred: experience with AC/DC Drives/Servo motors. Fanuc & Indramat
* Assistant in development of PM plans
* Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
* Completes repairs on mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems/components
* Complete miscellaneous assignments as required
* Work in coordination with representatives from various machine builders and colleagues from Germany
* Interprets and understand machine drawing and schematics
* Assists in development of PM plans
* Assists in management of spare parts inventories
* Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks as required
* Follow strict safety procedures including 'lockout"
* Uses various measurement equipment in connection with job duties
